| When I was younger, I never got along with my sister. We would always fight, I don't know why. Both of us went to high school but she never felt like studying and this used to make me mad because it pleased me so much to study. I would always tell her that she must apply herself more. But she never paid attention to me. It would go in one ear and out the other. Thank goodness that at that time it was easier to find work.
Apart from my sister, I had three brothers and we were seven in the family. My father worked in the mines and my mother took care of the house. I remember that during summer vacation we would go to a seaside resort that was situated about 50 kilometers from our home. To us it seemed like a very long trip. We would always have to travel with public transport because nobody in the family had a car. In spite of various problems, they were good times. |
