- Conditional of "volere" On your CD's you've been hearing vorrei and vorrebbe, and now vorremmo. Here's the verb volere conjugated in the conditional:

    Sapere, conoscere
    Sapere means "to know how..." or "to know..." a fact.
    Conoscere means "to know or be familiar with..." something or someone, or "to meet..." someone for the first time, (to make the acquaintance of someone).

3. Conoscere, sapere.
Translate into Italian.

Sapere – to know or to know how
1.         I know how to dance.         (ballare)

Conoscere and Sapere in the Passato Prossimo: (look on page 135, Part 4 for some explanation) Translate these sentences:

4. Do the exercises on page 137: "Piccolo Ripasso" C.
