Compiti:
For homework this week,
1. I handed out a pink sheet with a two-way translation on one side to practice in pairs next time, with the story of Hansel and Gretel on the back.
2. Susanna kindly brought 3 handouts for us. Here are some directions for them:
"esercizi: passato prossimo o imperfetto" For both of these exercises, you have to decide whether the verb should be imperfetto or passato prossimo. (do your best)
next page: "Un venerdi 17". Yesterday, Sara had a terrible day. You decide whether you should use the imperfetto or the passato prossimo. (Some of these are a bit difficult, but an interesting exercise)
next page: "I pronomi diretti con il passato prossimo". This one shows how you agree the past participle with the direct-object-pronouns "lo, la' li, and le". Then it goes into the partitive pronoun "ne" which means "some of". We haven't covered this yet. You might be able to figure this out from the examples and do the exercizi. If not, just look at the very top section to see how they have agreed the past participle with the pronoun.
