- Passato prossimo, irregular past participles, plus the adverb "non ancora" ("not yet").
I'm having a coffee. - Prendo un caffè.
I haven't had a coffee yet. - Non ho ancora preso un caffè.
We practiced the verbs in the third box of handout 3. We translated a few sentences using the verbs from the third box:
morire, offrire, aprire, soffrire.
Can you translate the following sentences?
I'm offering a coffee to Luigi.
I haven't offered Luigi coffee yet.
I suffer.
I haven't suffered yet.
I'm opening the restaurant.
I haven't opened the restaurant yet.
- Reflexive verbs and reciprocal verbs in the past tense. We went over our homework. From "Piccolo Ripasso" on pages 186, 187, exercises A, B, and C.

- Verbi: one subject and two verbs. Of sentences that came up in class, we saw these examples of one subject and two verbs:
Ho cominciato a guardare il film. - I began to watch a film.
Siamo andati a studiare. - We went to study.
Both cominciare and andare require the preposition a before the second verb (an infinitive).

euro - euro (the currency) is both singular and plural
