-Compiti (homework)

1.  Click here for the audio page: "Say and understand". Listen, and repeat.

2.  Practice and memorize the conjugations of avere (to have) and essere (to be). Write them, and say them out loud.

3.  Use the white handout with the drawings to answer the questions on the one-page pink handout which starts, "Rispondete alle domande...". Click here for the answers.

4.  Memorize the numbers in Italian, 1 through 20.  Write them out. Say them out loud!

5.  Read the back of the green handout (the dialogues we listened to in class). It has some good information. Re-read the dialogues aloud, picturing yourself at the caffè! We will listen to the dialogues again next week.

6. Listen to the CD. We'll see how fast everyone wants to progress through this series. Try to listen to both unit one and unit two this week. Each unit is a half-hour.
