- Both "voglia di..." and "bisogno di..." can be followed by a noun:
- Hai bisogno di una bicicletta? - Do you need a bicycle?
- Avete bisogno di aiuto? - Do you (pl.) have need of help?
- Ho voglia di un gelato. - I feel like a gelato.
- or followed by an infinitive:
- Avete bisogno di comprare i biglietti? - Do you (pl.) need (have need) to buy the tickets?
- Abbiamo voglia di andare al concerto. - We feel like going to the concert.
- -"Scusi, c'è un bagno qui?" We did this two-way translation exercise which used avere idioms, direction words, and basic vocabulary that we've studied so far.

-Compiti (homework)
1. Numbers: Even though this is higher than we counted in class, read Page 130 and do Part C. Make up your own practice to memorize the numbers.
2. "To ask the price of..." click here for "listen and repeat" version of the blue handout
3. Verbs which behave differently from their English equivalents. Finish reading page 80. See if you can understand the difference between "Pensare a..." and "Pensare di...". Read about "fare colazione", "pranzare", and "cenare". Do Practice Set 22 on page 81, Part A.
4. Subject pronouns. Read pages 82 and 83. Do Practice Set 23.
5. Verbs. Keep working on memorizing all these verbs!! -are verbs (page 76). Also, lasciare and chiamare. Also the irregular verbs we know so far: essere, avere, stare, fare, andare, venire. Find these on pages 80, 96, etc.
6. Interrogatives. Translate these sentences into English. (Question words are on page 96).
